Everything You Need to Know about Re-opening
New Life Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Gaithersburg, MD has reopened for in-person worship, following the local and federal government regulations, and the Allegheny East Conference (AEC) of Seventh-Day Adventist reopening guidelines. New Life's guidance, as stated below, will be adjusted as new information is received from the aforementioned agencies. Our primary focus continues to be the health and safety of our membership.
In-person services will be held on the 1st and 3rd Sabbaths of every month beginning August 21, 2021. Services will continue to be aired online every week.
We will be following strict procedures to ensure everyone's safety.
Once registered, show up at the front entrance between 11am - 11:15am (service will begin promptly at 11:30am). Please ensure that your face mask is on correctly (nose and mouth must be fully covered). Everyone attending service is to enter at the main entrance and are required to sanitize their hands when entering the building and must remained masked for the duration of the service.
Attendees must successfully complete a temperature screening in the foyer. (Please note: attendees who do not meet the screening criteria will be kindly invited to return for the next in-person service).
Attendees will be assigned a seat by an usher. Families will be asked to sit together and to maintain the recommended six (6) feet between families.
Tithes and offerings should be submitted online, if possible. For those who wish to return giving in-person, there will be receptacles placed in the foyer. Please place your giving in the designated container.
There will be no printed bulletins available. Church announcements are available on the church's e-bulletin at https://ebulletin.nlsdac.com/
There will be no hymnals available. All singing will be from the screen or from personal electronic devices. You must keep your face coverings on while singing.
We encourage you to limit your movement in and out of your seats during service.
Please avoid handshaking and other physical expressions of greeting.
Sabbath School and Prayer Meeting will continue online.
We welcome you back to in-person service, but please stay at home if you do not feel well.
